Sapphire raised an eyebrow at Zain's appearance. "Damn," She muttered. Sure he wasn't her type, but after his reaction, she'd figured he was missing an eye, or had been mauled or something.

"I....hey, you couldn't take me if you-oof" he said mid-sentence.
Leah had plowed into him.
"You're....you're gonna be safe now? No more worrying about you?" She said hugging him.
"Yeah....sure, no more of that." He said taken back.
"You feeling alright Sunshine?" He asked a bit concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just worried about you." She said, red in the face.
"You're special and I don't want you....too...to..." she mumbled, so only Kris could hear him.

Mortus points a finger at Malus "Hey, where I come from we aren't afraid to tell other guys when they look good! It's an act of respect and a way to prove you are honest, cuz it also works in reverse. You're haircut is goofy." he says to him Zain frowns "I'd rather look like one of those oni males than my father..." he says and groans slightly "I hurt all over....full body growing pains..." "Well it figures, your almost as tall as Mort now." Illyana says. eyeing Malus and Mortus, expecting a friendly wrestling match to ensue. Axelle smiles at Zain "You wanted to see Merlin correct?" she asks him Zain nods "Yes....I have to warn him....but first..." he looks down at Nabiki. and feels very odd about it. he leas in close to her "I....don't care, so you know. I really don't, if you care about someone then it doesn't matter what gender they are. I've been giving you your space for the past few days so you could think, and I could think. I still care for you all the same...but, there is one thing that troubles me...I'd like to talk about it with you alone after I...see Merlin." he says Illyana looks at Erov "Say...who is the one person that could have done that to him?" she asks, knowing the answer "His father of course." Erov says "Hell of a birthday present that's for sure. I wish I could have gone through my transformation in a few minutes." Raimeri laughs "Would have been less sticky." "DRAKMORD WAS HERE?" Jim says. "Damn it...forgive us Zain. We failed to keep you from him."
"The forest didn't show any signs. Guy musta been liek a spook or sumfin'." Dale says with a sigh. "If he's doen more than this t' you Zain I'll never forgive m'self. I came for the sole purpose of keepin' y' kids safe an' I messed that up."
"What do you two know of him?" Masamune asks Erov and Raimeri.'
"You've met him?" Jim asks. "I've just heard of him from Merlin."
"We're both powerful and influential men. We've had meetings at social functions." Masamune crosses his arms. "He doesn't deserve to have Zain as a son."
"Of course Zain." Nabiki says.

Zain looks to the concerned teachers "You couldn't have done anything...he...got me when Merlin teleported us....He's working with Snape." he says "That's what I have to tell Merlin..."
Axelle smiles "I'll go get him, you need to be right here." she says and runs off to find Merlin.
"Who's she?" Illyana asks
"She found me...she lives here I guess..." he says
"He's a legend to our kind. All have heard of him." Erov says "I know nothing more than what my father has told me."
"And the same with me." Raimeri says

"Snape...those two are..." Jim was floored by the news. "We need to get our allies pooled. Our old teachers, whoever we can. Things just got more dangerous."
"Dude I know that about my hair, and I was just teasing. Didn't I just say to Nabiki I more open minded than that." Malus joked. "But since it's like that...your ears stick out a bit too much."
"Maybe she's that apprentice of Serentiy's we were supposed to meet?" Roy says.
"That kinda makes sense. She found Zain easier than we could. Maybe becuase she has the same power?" Nabiki thinks.

"Zainy,..we've got your back. Or, well I know I do. You've been a cool friend, and I won't let whoever, your dad or whatever fuck with you." He said raising a fist.
He walked up to him, and smiled,
"So buck up, because just cause you're....a little taller than me, dosnt mean I won't pound you into the ground." Kris said with another smile.
"And I'll be there too. Right behind Kris. Supporting you. Masamune.....he's right, evils trying to rip us apart, but...if we stick together, they can't." Leah said with a slight smile.

Mortus smiles "My dad'll probably be willing to help. I wrote to him about the midterms, so he knows a bit. I only gave him a minor rundown"

Axelle goes to the house Merlin was in and goes in to find him "Mr.Merlin? Excuse me sir, you're needed. there was an incident." she says with urgency, but still incredibly sweetly.

Illyana punches Kris in the arm "Hey, someone seems in a better mood!" she smiles at him "And...thanks for being nicer to Zain." she whispers "He needs it you know? So, how are you feeling?"
Zain looks down "he's right.....I do look ugly..." he says saddly. his hands and a few places on his skin start to lightly ooze green slime again.
Mortus laughs "Dude, you look fine! you look better, less awkward. The scales really excentuate your jaw too, chicks love that. No matter what race you are. Fact." he says trying to cheer him up.

"Of course, he's never said anything bad about me. so why wouldn't I be. I feel great by the way. It's a good feeling. I don't have to worry about killing anyone. Besides, ima feel bad enough when I beat him during Nobunaga's test thing. It'll be fun. Then, we can go out, to...oops, almost let that slip." Kris said touching her hand. He gave her a small smile before turning to zain.
"Zainy, you look almost as good as me now!!! You'll have girlies crawling all over you. Nabi will have ta beat them off with a stick." Kris said with a chuckle.

Nerina puts her hand on Zain's shoulder. "Mortus is right Zain. You're are quite handsome and trust me, I'm the expert." She then hugs him. "I'm glad you're ok. I was worried, though I had to care for Artie I was still worried about you too."
"Miss Merces, try not to squeeze the life out of our student ok?" Jim says.
"Ok." She says, letting him go.
"Well I'm officially jealous." Malus says with a chuckle. "Lucky bugger."

"Yeah man, don't get so worked up over yourself!," Lance agrees. "At least you're getting better looking instead of turning into a monster or something!" This however brought back to Lance his own condition. Right...I almost forgot about it. Sure, nothing has happened since the beginning of the year but...Ugh. I'll have to talk to Mortus about that later.
Isaac nodded. "Like they said, you look fine Zain."
"Yeah! Besides, you got more important things to worry about, like competing against me and Kris!," Kami said with a smile. "Even if I'm sort of...just a random throw in there or whatever."
"Don't say that about yourself Kamilah. Any person would be happy to have you interested in them.," Rami said to her.
"Oh, so you're actually talking to me now? I thought my sudden come-out had made you want to keep your distance.," Kami replied with a frown.
"Well...I guess I have sort have been like that, haven't I?," Rami said with a defeated tone. "But it isn't like that. It's just...surprising I guess. Anyways, you're still my best friend to me, so it'd take more than this to make me want to stay away from you."
"Rami...," Kami said softly, getting choked up before giving him a hug. "I'm so glad to hear that!" In truth it really had been bothering her that he hadn't said anything in the past couple days, so hearing that he didn't despise her brought immense relief.
However, unlike the others who had all gone to comfort Zain, Mr. Match had instead thought and listened. "So you say it was your father that caused this accelerated growth...and that he claims to be working with Snape. We really do need to bring this to Merlin's attention. As much as I don't want to, I believe you're right Jim. We're going to need more help if Zain's father is on their side."
Clearing his throat, his next words were directed to the students. "However! With all of you lads and lasses disappearing randomly into the woods, I think it's best that you all stay here where we can see you from now on! The last thing we need is another case of people turning into trees or getting snared up in mystic vines!" Looking at Kris, he said, "That especially goes for you Kris. No offense meant, but you seem to get into, well, a lot of peculiar situations lad."
