His car bumped along the narrow, winding road. He kept his focus on the road, even as the stench of dead fish and the thick fog obscured his sense of direction. He knew where to go. After twenty years making this journey to and fro, trekking through no better conditions, he ignored the onslaught to his senses, even as the cold air gripped his throat through the broken dirver's window. His car sped past the Boston docks, and in their dried-up, derelict remains a behemoth lay, tilted on its side into the harbor. As the fog cleared, the hulking mass's identity could be seen, in huge white capital letters across the flight deck:
USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH CVN 077

"Maternity special tactics operative Chris Agron slowly lowered his sniper rifle and slung it on his back, and opened a can of baked beans. They weren't cooked, but hell he hadn't cooked anything in almost a week. He'd been stalking his target for a week and hadn't had any contact with his HQ since he left. His black combat armor was covered in grime and dirt, he needed to shave, a 5=oclock shadow had set in. He put his black shades back on his eyes and stood up. He liked working with a partner, but only if that partner was Leley. She was a Phasewalker like him. He raised his katana and made sure it's edge was still razor sharp. He ran a hand through his black spikey hair and activated his Phasewalker ability and took off after Hillington.

Hillington, at this time, was still driving through the desolate and decrepit remains of Boston, the glistening Hancock tower only half its original height. As Agron ran towards downtown, a message came into his comlink from Mother herself.
"Be careful, operative Agron. We've lost even experienced SecOps members such as yourself against the officers of the UR. I know you're still upset over what happened to Leley, but that was twenty years ago and she has fully recovered. Keep focused, and do not engage him unless you feel it to be necessary.

"You're worrying about me, looks like i'm growing on you. Don't worry Mother, I've done this what, a hundred times. I will learn as much as I can, take out a few soldiers, and then be on my marry way back to the pic-up point." he said as he came out of the Phasewalk. His headset worked perfectly even out in the wastes. He smiled again and pulled out Leley's old .44 Magnum and spun it on his finger. "Ok, so lets see," he said as he laid down the pistol. He unslung his rifle and aimed through the scope. He aimed at the Hancock tower, and saw a few specks near the base and a few on the top. "Mother, I am asking permission to engage targets. Do I have your blessing when the chance arises? Or would ou you rather i go in closer. Currently about 650 yards from targets."

Mother's smooth, sultry yet unfailingy motherly voice rang through the radio. "You most certainly have my blessing, but have you found any officers in the area?" Agron paused, a bit unsure but still brimming with confidence.

"Hilington," he increased the rifles zoom. "Two Captains three L.T.'s and about a dozen NCO's." he said in an almost zen-like state. He slowed his breathing down some and his rifle almost completly stopped moving. He zoned in on the closest target, a Captain. He pulled the bolt on his anti-tank rifle and shot some of his electrical energy through the cartridge of his rifle, making his bullets electric. His pointer finger gripped the trigger and he pulled. The air around him sizzled with electrical energy and then his shoulder rocked as the Anti-tank rifle fired and struck the enemy Captain directly in the back. The mans body exploded and lightning bolts struck out and hit one of the NCO's bodies. The soldier fell to the floor and didn't move.

Hillington had just arrived at the overgrown atrium of the Hancock Tower when he heard the shot. Immediately aware of who fired it, he took out a cigarette and lit it, not too sure as to whether he should just ignore the fracas of of gunfire from the 30th floor's blown-out windows, headed directly into nowhere.
He decided to light up. "Jesus fucking Christ, don't those idiots know better than to just let off like that? Bet it's that fucking Agron." He turned round, and scanned the destoyed and decaying landscape. He then pulled out his saber and poked Agron across the back with his finger.
"Hey, asshole, how many times do I have to kick your ass and lock you up before you're gonna get it...Oh, and yes, we still have that bitch Leley, but she's fine. Agron looked a little confused as to why he mentioned her, but his eyes soon glassed over when he realized she was still under UR custody.
Now put your hands behind your back and get in the car, if you know what's good for you. Yeah, and she tried to escape again. Maybe the two of you will have a nice conversation while I transport you to the Interrogation center.
Agron looked at his silver eagle, and remembered his promise to Leley.

"Don't get too cocky old man, Last time you saw me I was helpin a squad escape." he snarled. He dropped his rifle and brought out his katana. He stood and smiled. "So bring it on." He lowered himself into the Shogun Dragon stance and he slashed forward. The Colonel blocked and threw his fist forward. He caught Chris by the collar and slammed him into the wall. "Fucking asshole." he spat out. Chris smiled though. he had taken the bait and it would cost him. He brought up Leleys Magnum and fired all six rounds into the Bastards chest.

Agron looked at his body, and watched it as it slumped onto the wall.
Agron knew he had been hasty, but he smiled anyway. However, the smile turned to a sense of terror as he realized the bullets hadn't even torn his clothing. "I don't need it, but around you I figure its best to be safe and do as the Fuhrer says."
Agron looked on, a bit puzzled. "Funny, you never wore it before." Hillington knew what he was talking about, and almost succeeded in striking fear into Agron when he told him the truth.
"You idiot, I wasn't talking about body armor." He rolled up his right sleeve and revealed the one mark even Mother feared to a degree: the Eagle, Globe and Anchor insignia.
Agron tried to get another slash in, but by this time, Hillington's saber blow had sent him flying into the Hancock Tower, destroying its atrium and increasing its list. As Agron got up, the tower keeled over on top of him, crushing Leley's revolver amongst other things. Anger overtook Agron, and in his rage, he had forgotten to simply phasewalk out of harm's way.
Hillington appeared on the ruins of the centuries-old structure. He saw Agron, nearly out cold, but still scowling. Hillington gave him a good gutcheck, and he threw up a bit of blood.
"Fucking brats. You get the OK from that Mom, mother, or whatever the hell you call the bitch, and you think you can take me on. Major Torrence, Captain Garcia, bring him to the Interrogation room." Both immediately and sharply replied "yes, sir!" and took Agron and began escorting him to the cruiser.
"If he moves, tell me so I can call Brigadier General Richardson."

Chris coughed up some more blood and smiled. "Mother." he said into his mic. "Everything is going according to plan." The colonel turned and glared at him. He focused on his own electro-magnetic field and expanded it. The field engulfed the entire area. Every person in the area was frozen in place. Chris smiled. He now controled every electrical interface in their bodies. "Okay, the only one I need is you Hillington." With a blink he stopped the other officers hearts in the area. They fell without a sound. "And don't try "walking" away or else your heart stops as too. Lets try this again, Mother, send in the troops. I told you I would get this SOB. Send in the dropship, I have your present." He smiled and using his elecctro-magnetic field he made the colonel walk forward and towards the Hulk sitting in the Harbor.

Agron's radio sputtered, and then died. The EMP he released knocked it out, and he knew Mother was expecting a timely response, so he used his own energy to power it for a while.
Shortly thereafter, Mother's voice called out. "Well, Agron, I see you've done your job, and quite well. However, I see your anger has once again ovepowered you." Agron was confused, and knew he had done something he would regret...he had placed Leley before Mother again, and the tone of her voice hid the subtlety of her having had enough of this kind of tangent.
"Agron, what did I tell you about going overboard like that? After all, didn't he threaten to call Mr. Richardson? You are strong, Agron, but you're not that strong.
At that, Brigadier General Richardson crushed the radio and lifted Agron into the air via telekenesis. "Stupib fucking brats. You run off and join a terrorist organization as teens and you think you can take on us? Well guess what? I'm you're opponent now."
Agron took on a rather deadpan look, but then he realized he had a light bruise on his face. In a sense of latent horror, he realized what had happened before he got to him--and that his own aggressiveness had gotten a fellow operative killed.
However, there wasn't much space for thinking, as he crashed headfirst into the carrier with blinding speed, bringing it just out of the sand. The metallic creaking was enough to casue the surrounding harbor to rumble.

"God-damnit.....he...was watching...the whole time." He knew Mother would be pissed, but he hadn't realized how far he'd pushed his abilities. His blood tasted like iron in his mouth and he entered his phasewalker state, He became invisible to the two officers and sped off through the ruins. He fell back to the backup retreat point and hopped onto his bike. He shot some electrical energy into it and sped off into the distance. He knew Mother would be pissed....., but Leley had escaped and now sat on the back of the bike holding onto his waist. She kissed the back of his neck and began using her Phasewalker ability to hide them both from the remaining officers...noise ,sight andsound were sucked from the area as they sped off.
--------------------------
Leley smiled. Chris's distraction and idiotic display of power had allowed her to phasewalk unharmed through her restraints and through the outer hull of the ship. She sprinted towards the backup point she had assigned so long ago, and waas waiting for him with the security holotape from the cruiser in her back pocket at his bike. He sped past her and hopped onto his bike she stratled him from behind and he took off. Her powers activated and they were hidden from any and all officers as they made their long awaited escape.

Hillington and Richardson stared blankly at one another. "So, you ready to go back to the High Command and get our asses kicked?" he said with an oddly grandiose kind of calm. Richardson knew exactly what he was talking about: the security holotape that may have had some precious past memories on it was gone, not moments after they had recovered it from the Bush. As they made their way towards Washington, the smell of dead fish began to overpower their adrenaline rushes, and Captain Garcia threw up. Hillington wasn't too pleased. "Dude, no hurling on the armrest."
The car disappeared into the fog of the remnants of the Atlantic Ocean, and they wound their way through what remained of Philadelphia.
As Agron rode westward, Leley resting her head on his back, how far they had to go proved to be a bit overwhelming, but he knew he would have to face up to the not-so-loving version of Mother when he returned to Nebraska. They had the tape, but what was on it? Coveted memories of the past, perhaps from before the Disaster? More recent ones? All he knew was that his seat as agent 30 would be in jeopardy if it was just another litany of parking lot surveillance...

Hillington and Richardson changed into their service 2 uniforms--green trousers, and the UR-issued white dress shirt. Hillington had far more decorations on his shirt than did Richardson: 21 ribbons, 14 medals and 6 unit citations versus his 13 ribbons, no medals and 4 unit citations. Each of them tightened their black belts and got ready for the imminent grilling they would recieve form the Eastern Commander, General Lawrence Hughes. They opened his door, and sat in two chairs opposite his large mohagany desk. His decorations were both theirs combined.
"Well, what do you two have to say for yourselves this time around? Two officers and a sergeant?"
Always the witter, Richardson had a rebuttal at the ready. "Ah, but they got taken out by some brat. Did they really deserve to become officers in the first place?" Hughes did not look pleased with this rebuttal. "I will decide who is worthy of serving under the Fuhrer or not, or would you rather have me let you talk to him?"
Both of them looked at each other. "NO!"
