It took a while, but suddenly, the android opened it's eyes. Moving it's arms for the first time, it pushed itself up into a sitting position and looked around at it's surroundings, it's expression passive, yet with a glint of curiosity in its eyes.
"Success!," Technik announced happily. "Quick, android, tell me, how do you feel? Are your systems running smoothly?"
It looked at Technik and said nothing, although it did nod it's head up and down.
"Excellent, excellent...what are your first thoughts?," he asked eagerly.
It still did not reply, only shrugging its shoulders.
"Well, come on now, that isn't very descriptive. Say something!"
It opened it's mouth, but nothing came out. Confused, it tried again, but nothing was heard.
"Oh...rustbuckets! I must have forgot to install the speach program! Grrr...," Technik said, grumbling as he went over to the side and searched his cabinets for one.
Looking around, the android took in it's surroundings. It's sensors told it the humidity, temperature, light levels. It identified 312 potential weapons it could use if the need arised and 125 spare parts should it need to repair itself. Looking down, it analyzed that it looked much different from its creator, appearing more organic than robotic. It was slightly strange, yet made it feel...unique.
"Aha! Here we go!," Technik said from across the room, holding up a chip. Walking back over to the android, he fumbled around on it's head till he found the correct spot. Pressing down lightly, he opened up the skull cavity and inserted the chip into its correct spot. Closing the head again, he waited for the chip to boot in.
The android blinked a few times as it registered the new device. Looking at Technik, it said in a cool, calm voice, "Hardware installed. I am now able to answer your previous question in a verbal manner. My first thoughts are mainly assessments of my area and observations, not really anything interesting."
"Ah, yes, good, good. Interesting voice, I like it...well, this is definitely a win in my book!," Technik announced happily. "I must go and tell Blitzcrank of my success immediately!"
"Should I come as well?," the android said, getting off of the stand it was on. It stumbled a bit as it tried to balance on it's legs.
"Er, yes, that would most definitely help. But, we'll have to practice with you walking...and find you some clothes."
"Clothes? You do not wear any clothes. Why must I?"
"Because, well, it is what others who like you do and, since you'll be interacting with those kinds of people, it will give you some practice in such things."
"I see...it seems unnecessary."
"If it is any consolation, you are more than welcome to refrain from wearing clothes when you are alone or have free time. But for now, come along, I have some I picked out for you. Made them myself too!"
Slowly stumbling along, the android followed Technik, who helped support it as it walked up into the main household. Soon, however, it found the right measure of balance and was able to walk on its own.
"And here you are!," he replied as they got to his main living room. Pointing to some clothing on a chair, he said, "There are the clothes you shall be wearing. Since you do not sweat or release the other odors that true humans do, you will find that you can wear this for extended lengths of time, only washing them when they actually get dirty. Do you need help in putting them on?"
"No, I believe I can find out myself.," the android replied. Walking over, it did in fact put on the clothing quite quickly and skillfully, despite it being its first time ever doing so.
"Excellent, excellent!," Technik shouted gleefully. "You truly are a masterpiece! Now, to just come up with a name for you...preferably one that's less...robotic sounding...Aha! Akilah! I think that fits well with you."
The android thought for a second, then nodded. "I like that name. It means I am intelligent, logical, which fits with how I am a machine."
Technik put his arm on Akilah's shoulder a smiled. "No, you are more than a machine. You are so much more than that!"
((OOC: Woo boy, this was a long one! I'll work on the bio soon, just have to do some chores >.<))
